Barcelona manager Hansi Flick and Raphinha were spotted sharing what looked to be an emotional moment after Saturday’s win over Alaves.
Raphina was back in the team and made a big difference for the Catalans, with Hansi Flick hailing the Brazilian after the victory.
”Raphinha always brings dynamism to our game. He’s very important because he has great intensity, and when he starts pressing, he makes everyone else press too. He needs to improve in the upcoming matches, but it’s fantastic that he’s back,” he told reporters.
Yet a video circulating on social media seems to show Flick looking fairly emotional on the touchline before exchanging a few words with Raphinha.
There were reports earlier this season that Flick is thinking about stepping down at the end of the campaign, but the Barca boss was quick to dismiss the speculation as “rubbish.”
Flick’s come in for plenty of criticism this season, with his tactics repeatedly questioned, but Saturday’s win saw his team return to the top of the table in Spain.
