‘Camp Nou is where history will be written’ – Lamine Yamal sends message to Barcelona fans

Lamine Yamal seems to be relishing the prospect of returning to Camp Nou with Barcelona as he’s posted another message ahead of the weekend’s game against Athletic Club.

Barcelona’s teenager has already said “special nights are coming” ahead of the team’s first game back at their famous home and has now put out another update on social media.

Yamal’s new profile picture on Instagram is a picture of him clutching the Barcelona badge and the words: “Montjuïc was the beginning. Camp Nou is where history will be written.”

Yamal is expected to feature on Saturday despite missing out on international duty with Spain after undergoing treatment for his pubalgia issues.

The teenager has played at Camp Nou before but there are a host of first-teamers who are looking forward to their first senior appearance at the stadium including Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, Joan Garcia, Marc Bernal, Roony Bardghji, and Dro Fernandez.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford and Wojciech Szczęsny have played at Camp Nou before but not in Barcelona colors.
