Barcelona manager Hansi Flick says he’ll talk to Deco next week about possible transfers after losing Andreas Christensen to a long-term knee injury.
Christensen is expected to miss several months after being ruled out with a partial ACL tear which has led to speculation that Barcelona will look for a replacement in the January transfer window.
Flick was asked about the situation after the win over Villarreal and offered up the following response.
“I’ll talk to Deco. Maybe tomorrow, but not today. For me, the most important thing is that Andreas comes back healthy,” he said.
“We have to support him, we all have to support him. He was in good form, he played very well in the Cup, and he was also showing a high level in training.
“It’s very sad, it’s another injury for him. All I can say is to wish him all the best and hope he comes back soon.”
