Barcelona star Lamine Yamal shows off Spain’s shirt for World Cup 2026

Spain’s new shirt for World Cup 2026 has been released by adidas and comes completes with an image showing Barcelona star Lamine Yamal sporting the new look.

Adidas has actually dropped new kits for 22 countries ahead of next summer’s tournament in North America, Canada and Mexico as excitement starts to build.

Here’s how Yamal and Lionel Messi will look in their new kits:

Spain have won all four games in World Cup qualifying so far to sit top of their group, three points ahead of Turkey. La Roja play Georgia and Turkey in the next international break and will be hoping to confirm their place in the tournament then.

Yamal’s participation in the games is once again up for debate. Barcelona’s teenager is continuing to suffer from pubalgia, and the feeling is that his club side would much prefer him to rest over the next international break.

However, it’s been reported that if Yamal plays for Barcelona against Club Brugge today, then Spain boss Luis de la Fuente will see no problem in including him in his next squad list.
