Robert Lewandowski’s agent rules out January exit for Barcelona striker

Robert Lewandowski’s agent has issued a fresh update on the Barcelona’s striker future and has ruled out an exit in the January transfer window.

The veteran striker is into the final year of his contract and there’s been plenty of talk about what he might do next in the international break.

AC Milan are believed to be interested in his services, but Pini Zahavi says there’s no chance Lewandowski could move this winter.

“Everything being said about Lewandowski ‘s possible departure in the winter transfer window is completely false,” Pini Zahavi told 365scores.

“Robert isn’t thinking about leaving right now; he’s completely focused on helping the team and winning titles. He feels completely settled in Barcelona and has no intention of opening the door to a mid-season exit.”

Zahavi also rejected suggestions Lewandowski could hang up his boots in the summer, adding: “That possibility isn’t on the table either. The player remains competitive and will continue his career.”
