Barcelona star Raphinha has hit back at talk that he already has an agreement in place to leave the club in the summer transfer window if a lucrative offer arrives from Saudi Arabia.
It was reported earlier this week that the Brazilian has a verbal agreement with Deco to move on after World Cup 2026 if a big-money offers comes in from the Middle East.
However, Raphinha has moved quickly to shoot down the speculation. He responded to a post on social media about the story with some very strong words, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“I don’t know where they get so much nonsense, really. Well, this one, where fake news always comes out, very nice,” he responded.
Raphinha has regularly made it clear that Barcelona is the only club he wants to play for and that he’d be happy to spend his entire career at Camp Nou.
After signing a new contract earlier this season he said: “I’ve told my family before that my dream is to be here until the end of my career and I hope to be able to do so but at my best level.”
