Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has admitted he still does not know what he will do after his contract expires at the end of the season.
There’s been talk recently that Lewandowski is hoping to stay on at Barcelona as he’s not interested in a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
Clubs in Italy have also been linked with a move for the veteran, while there’s also been talk he could hang up his boots.
Lewandowski is now on international duty with Poland and has been asked again about his future, admitting he’s not even sure what he’d say if Barca offered a contract extension.
“I still don’t know the answer. That’s why I’m not in a hurry, I’m at peace with myself,” he told Goal.pl.
“And that is the most important thing. Even if, for example, the club contacted me now, I still wouldn’t answer that question. Because I also have to feel what’s best for me. Now I’m calm, I’m not in a hurry and, at the moment, I don’t expect anything else.”
For the time being it seems Lewandowski will simply concentrate on this season. He bagged a hat-trick last time out for Barcelona to take his tally to the season to seven.
