Barcelona stars nominated for FIFA’s The Best awards

The nominations for the 2025 FIFA The Best awards have been announced and there are plenty of candidates from Barcelona.

First team stars Pedri, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal are all in the running for the The Best Men’s award after enjoying a stellar year and winning three titles with Barcelona.

The Best FIFA Men’s Player nominees: Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Nuno Mendes, Cole Palmer, Pedri, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, Vitinha, Lamine Yamal

Hansi Flick masterminded last season’s success and is nominated for the Men’s Coach of the Year, while Wojciech Szczesny is is the running for the Goalkeeper of the Year prize.

The Best FIFA Men’s Coaches nominees: Hansi Flick, Luis Enrique, Javier Aguirre, Mikel Arteta, Enzo Maresca, Roberto Martinez, Arne Slot.

Barcelona Femeni are also heavily represented, as you might expect. Aitana Bonmatí, Patri Guijarro, Ewa Pajor, Claudia Pina, and Alexia Putellas have all been nominated for the Best Women’s Player award. Cata Coll is shortlisted for the Best Goalkeeper prize.

The Best FIFA Women’s Player nominees: Sandy Baltimore, Nathalie Björn, Aitana Bonmatí, Lucy Bronze, Mariona Caldentey, Temwa Chawinga, Kadidiatou Diani, Melchie Dumornay, Patri Guijarro, Lindsey Heaps, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Ewa Pajor, Clàudia Pina, Alexia Putellas, Alessia Russo, Leah Williamson

Voting is now open and will run until November 28. You can vote for your favorites on Fifa’s website.
