Barcelona are reportedly once again talking about full-backs amid doubts over the form of both Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde this season.
Mundo Deportivo report that “there is some concern” over both Balde and Kounde as neither player has managed to find top form so far this season.
There’s also a feeling that the two back-ups, Gerard Martin and Jofre Torrents, aren’t really genuine options to replace either player in the starting XI on a regular basis.
Barca are therefore looking at potential options and like Nuno Mendes and Josko Gvardiol, although neither are seen as realistic options as they are on long-term contracts with their current clubs.
Alejandro Grimaldo’s name is mentioned once again, with the Bayer Leverkusen defender said to be on the club’s shortlist, along with Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz.
The Colombia international has spoken about his future during the international break, making it pretty clear he would love to make the jump to a big club.
