‘I’m not entirely happy’ – Marcus Rashford makes admission after scoring in Barcelona win

Marcus Rashford scored his second La Liga goal of the season on Sunday to secure a 3-1 win for Barcelona over Elche at Montjuic.

The England international lashed home a fierce shot at the near post after good work from Fermin Lopez to seal the victory for Hansi Flick’s side.

Rashford had been enduring a frustrating afternoon up until that point, and he admitted after the game that he wasn’t completely happy with his performance and is determined to improve.

“I try to give my best. I could have done better against Elche and I promise to improve because I’m not entirely happy with my performance overall,” he told the media.

“We work hard to win. We’re taking it one game at a time. We need to keep playing as a team. This is
Barça , and the demands must always be at their highest.”

Rashford now has six goals and five assists for Barcelona from 14 appearances in all competitions since signing on loan from Manchester United.
