Pedri made a welcome return to action for Barcelona against Alaves on Saturday, playing 30 minutes in the 3-1 win at Camp Nou.
The word is now that the Spain star will start on Tuesday when Barca take on Atletico Madrid in a big La Liga game at Camp Nou.
According to Diario Sport, Pedri will return to the starting XI for the game and could play for around an hour against Diego Simeone’s side.
Pedri has been out of action for about a month and has been missed. His return for the game is a huge boost to Hansi Flick at the start of a busy month.
Barcelona also take on Real Betis, Eintract Frankfurt, Osasuna and Villarreal before competition pauses over the festive period.
Frenkie de Jong is also expected back for the game, after missing out against Alaves for personal reasons, giving Flick his preferred central midfield pairing for the fixture.
